An original Russia home shirt from the 2020/22 season, spanning the nation's UEFA Euro 2020 campaign and the FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifying cycle that followed:

• UEFA Euro 2020 group stage, exiting the tournament after finishing bottom of Group B behind Belgium, Denmark and Finland;
• FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifying play-offs, reaching the play-off round of the campaign before it was brought to an early end by FIFA's suspension of Russia in 2022.

This vibrant red home shirt, with its white sleeves and collar and subtle red camouflage pattern, carries Adidas's design for the national team across this cycle.

Captain Artem Dzyuba led the side in attack through this period, alongside key performers such as Aleksandr Golovin, one of the squad's few regulars playing in one of Europe's top leagues at AS Monaco. Stanislav Cherchesov managed the team through the Euro 2020 finals, leaving his post shortly afterwards following the group-stage exit. Despite home advantage for their group matches in St Petersburg, Russia were unable to progress past the first round, closing out Cherchesov's five-year spell in charge of the national team.
