This crisp white home shirt with its bold black shoulder stripes and black collar reflects Adidas' clean-cut Real Madrid template of the mid-2000s.

David Beckham (#23) operated from the right side of Real Madrid's midfield that season, lining up alongside Zinedine Zidane, Raúl, Ronaldo and Roberto Carlos. The Galácticos squad, freshly bolstered by Sergio Ramos and Robinho, was managed first by Vanderlei Luxemburgo and then, from December 2005, by Juan Ramón López Caro.
