An original France home shirt from the 2006/07 season, released by Adidas as the national team's qualifying campaign for UEFA Euro 2008 got under way under manager Raymond Domenech:

Reigning FIFA World Cup runners-up entering the season, having reached the final of the 2006 World Cup before losing to Italy on penalties;
UEFA Euro 2008 qualifying campaign in full swing, one Les Bleus would go on to negotiate successfully to reach the tournament finals in Austria and Switzerland.

This vibrant blue home shirt, finished with red side panels and white, red and blue striped sleeve trim echoing the French tricolore, was produced by Adidas for the national side.

Thierry Henry (#12) was one of the squad's most senior and prolific forwards through this period, lining up alongside team-mates such as Franck Ribéry, Claude Makélélé and William Gallas under Raymond Domenech. It was during this qualifying campaign that Henry moved past Michel Platini to become France's all-time leading goalscorer.
