La Liga champions, securing the Spanish league title;
Copa del Rey winners, beating Sevilla 5-0 in the final to complete the domestic double;
UEFA Champions League quarter-finalists, eliminated by Roma on away goals after winning the first leg 4-1 at Camp Nou before losing 0-3 in Rome.

This blue home shirt with its red vertical pinstripes and yellow collar trim reflects the fading-stripe design Nike introduced for Barcelona that season, the club's first campaign with Rakuten as shirt sponsor, with a Catalan flag detail worked into the neckline.

Jordi Alba (#18) was Barcelona's first-choice left-back that season, a regular starter in a defence built around Gerard Piqué under new head coach Ernesto Valverde, with Lionel Messi and Andrés Iniesta driving the attack. Messi finished the campaign as the club's top scorer with 34 league goals, while Alba's runs down the left remained a constant outlet in Valverde's title-winning side.
