An original AS Monaco home shirt from the 2006/07 season, the only campaign Yaya Touré spent at the club before his move into Europe's elite:

• 9th place finish in Ligue 1, a recovery from a difficult start to the campaign;
• Coupe de France Round of 16 exit, eliminated by Sochaux;
• Coupe de la Ligue Round of 16 exit, knocked out by Stade Reims.

This vibrant red and white home shirt, split by its diagonal design and finished with Puma detailing, reflects the sharp look Monaco wore through the mid-2000s.

Yaya Touré (#15) arrived on the Rock as a raw, defensively-minded prospect and grew into a commanding box-to-box midfielder as the season progressed, lining up alongside teammates such as Jan Koller and Jérémy Ménez.

Laurent Banide took charge in October, replacing László Bölöni, and steadied the side after its poor start; Touré's form under him proved decisive enough to earn a move to Barcelona at season's end, the springboard for a career that would later carry him to Manchester City.
