- 13th place finish in La Liga;
- Round of 32 in the Copa del Rey.
This home shirt features Espanyol’s traditional white and blue striped design, a symbol of the club’s proud identity. During the season, the team was managed by Mauricio Pochettino until November 2012, when Javier Aguirre took over and steered the side to safety. Key players included Sergio García, Joan Verdú, and young talent Philippe Coutinho, who joined on loan from Inter and made a big impact with his creativity and goals.
